All Mastery Pods run with a maximum of 6 students, led by an active exam board examiner. Three boards only: AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge CAIE.
The subjects every IGCSE student sits. Deep examiner supply. Mathematics and English Language pods are board-agnostic — the core content is near-identical across boards. English Literature pods are board-specific due to differing set texts.
Strong IGCSE entry volumes. Sciences are delivered board-agnostically — core syllabus content is near-identical across AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge CAIE. History pods are board-specific because topics differ entirely per board.
Lower entry volumes but high parental willingness to pay and limited examiner availability in the open market. Parents paying £60–90/hour for 1-on-1 specialist tutoring find EMI's pod model a significant value upgrade.

Board coverage: EMI covers AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge CAIE only. We do not currently offer OCR or WJEC/Eduqas. If your student sits one of these boards, contact us — we will advise honestly on whether our pod content is transferable.
