Our facilitators are Honours and Masters graduates recruited from universities across the UK, Africa, and South Asia. Every one has sat the examination system they teach — in the country they are from. A facilitator from Zimbabwe who sat Cambridge CAIE in Harare brings a credibility that no UK-born tutor can replicate for a student sitting the same papers in Nairobi.
Every facilitator application is assessed against our five-stage quality framework. Selection is rigorous. Not all applicants are accepted. The selection standard is the mechanism through which we maintain examination performance outcomes across a growing facilitator bench.
Minimum Honours degree in the subject facilitated. Preference for Masters or above. Required: A-Level examination experience in the specific board being facilitated. Assessed via subject knowledge test and trial workshop before appointment.
12-hour minimum induction before first live session. Covers: EMI examination methodology, board-specific examiner orthodoxy, workshop facilitation skills, Discord moderation protocols, and safeguarding compliance.
First three workshops observed by a senior facilitator. Written feedback within 48 hours. One observed session per term thereafter. Peer observation programme across the facilitator bench.
Three-question pulse survey after every workshop. Full feedback form after each paper series. Any facilitator averaging below 4/5 for two consecutive sessions enters structured support.
Monthly facilitator team meetings. Annual structured review against student outcome data. Exit interviews retained as institutional knowledge. Quality maintained at scale, not assumed.
Enhanced DBS clearance required before first session. Safeguarding training completed before working with minors. All facilitators acknowledge the Online Conduct Policy and are bound by it.
Geographic diversity is not incidental. It is a deliberate competitive advantage. A student in Lagos sitting Cambridge CAIE benefits from a facilitator who sat those exact papers in West Africa — who knows the context, the pressure, and the experience of the examination they are preparing for.
"I sat these exact papers. I know where the marks are — and where students lose them. That is what I teach."
✓ Enhanced DBS Cleared"Physics examinations reward clear reasoning. I teach students to communicate their thinking — that is where grades are won."
✓ Enhanced DBS Cleared"Further Mathematics is where students discover what mathematics actually is. My job is to make that discovery happen before the examination."
✓ Enhanced DBS ClearedAs Exam Mastery International grows, the standard of facilitation your child receives in month 12 must be at least as high as month 1. That requires a formal quality assurance framework — not an assumption that good hiring is sufficient.
Our five-stage QA framework is summarised above. The full policy is available on request. We welcome questions about our facilitator quality standards from parents.
If you hold an Honours or Masters degree in Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Physics and sat your A-Level examinations under Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel or AQA, we want to hear from you. Competitive rates. Flexible hours. Remote delivery.
